Crowdsourcing insights around childhood to inform a digital game.
Hackney Open Studios
We created a live data wall in our Hackney studio to invite people to share their favourite childhood memories. People were asked to reminisce about their childhood and capture memories around holidays, friends, family, toys and nature.
The overall purpose was to understand what might bring children joy, and feed into the wellbeing digital research we were being comissioned to carry out with the Usborne Foundation and Teach Your Monster.
We were exploring things like how we might help children to deal with their emotions, be more resilient or even encouraging them to put down their screens and get creative in the physical world.
